#4. Stationery shops in Singapore!

Found some pretty awesome (and cute) stationery shops in Singapore!

1. Kikki K.

Found this at ION Orchard! I loved this shop because everything is neat and organised (unlike me) and everything has a theme. Some of the notebooks are in the 30-40 bucks range, but they also include many other stuff, like pens. table organisers, memory books, files, and even coin pouches!

This is one of the memory books, and they make your job a whole lot easier (imagine "insert image here" margins.) It's like a page-by-page account of your relationship between you and whoever you want to give it to. They also have one for your Mum, Grandma, Brother, Sister, Grandpa, Dad and even your Child!

They also have collections, each with it's own different range of products. One of my favourites is the Ingrid &Friends collection, which has cartoon owls and awesome colour combinations.

A Gel Pen.
A Large Canvas Pencilcase.
Wooden stamps!

I LOVE owls and wooden stamps. :D They also have coin pouches and iphone cases (my bestf bought one the last time we went there) and you should definitely check out the shop!

If you know the meaning of kawaii, you should probably check out this shop!

I don't know where this shop is though, I found it online. The items are pretty cheap, mostly under the 30 dollar range. They sell things like iphone 4 cases to wooden stamps (yet again) and of course, post-it notes, paper products, pens and wallets/camera pouches.

It's pretty popular among teens these days. It's at ION Orchard, and a heck lot of other places, too.

It covers everything: from mugs to clocks to notebooks to hoodies. (and eye masks, too!)

The notebooks can cost as low as $2.90, but some notebooks cost over 20 bucks. The rest are under the 50 dollar range (I think).

OWL!!!! Birthday card. :D

Another birthday card.

Cards.

I haven't actually been to their shop, just browsing through their website. Not sure how much these are priced, hopefully not too expensive because I'm thinking of buying one for my friend's housewarming. (Not relevant, still.)

Four shops might not be a lot, but enough pictures to flood my download bar.

I'm going to continue searching and update when I find new ones!

#3. Pinkdot Singapore 2011!

Hey there! Sorry for the short hiatus but was thinking of ideas to make this blog more popular. :P

So anyway, heard of Pinkdot yet? If you don't, watch the video below!

It was held yesterday at Hong Lim Park at 6pm (I think), and I heard it was a HUGE success. I only knew about Pinkdot the day before it happened and didn't have enough time to grab a few friends and go.

I will be looking forward to it next year and I'll be sure to mark the date on  my calendar!

One of the reasons Pinkdot was a huge success was probably because of websites like Youtube and Tumblr. People posted videos about Pinkdot on Youtube and people linked them on Tumblr, and people probably posted it onto Facebook too! (I hadn't logged onto Facebook for looooong time, you see. :P)

Most of the Singaporeans used to (and some still do) think that Singapore was a very stubborn society - the government did not approve gay marriages, and some people's mindsets are still a bit conservative and unwilling to accept the changes in the everchanging society.

But more and more people have started to raise awareness and concern for issues in Singapore - Take the petition to help free the dolphins from Resort World in Sentosa for example. The petition has over 86,400 signatures and is still increasing (I hope). This shows that Singapore's society is beginning to change, with the Pinkdot and many other petitions and campaigns. There's hope, kids!

So anyway, Show your support for the freedom to love in Singapore and be sure to attend next year's Pinkdot!

#2. Foldable water bottle!

Foldable Water Bottle,
sh0p-withus.blogspot.com

I found these a while ago, and really wanted one. They are available in green, pink, orange, blue, purple, and black. I would love to get the green one, and they are pretty cheap too.

You can hang them on your bag, like this:

And once you're done,
Fold it!

I love the design because I am always left with a bulky empty water bottle at the end of the day. My water bottle takes up a lot of space, and this can get annoying, especially when I'm using a small bag for going out.

#1. causal-vintage outfit?

So I've been scouring the internet for bags, and I found some blogshops selling some awesome ones. Then I found some wallets and shirts, so I decided to piece together this little outfit.
(The photos belong to the respective blogshops.)

Firstly, the top:

Jack Union Hoodie,
pikapika-z.blogspot.com

I know it's not really vintage, but I think it'll go great with a causal-vintage type outfit. Or maybe my taste is just bad. :P It's an oversized kind of hoodie, and I fell in love with it at first sight. I'm still considering whether I should buy it though, because I'm small-sized and it would just look awkward on me. :B

Bottom:
I couldn't really find any nice bottoms to go with the oversized hoodie, so I guess it goes well with jeans too. :)

Bag:
MY FAVORITE PART!

 Cambridge,
boomz.onsugar.com

They have it in two sizes and four different colours, which are pink, yellow, white and brown. Personally I like the white-coloured one, even though brown would look more vintage-y. It's the perfect going-out bag for me because I hardly bring anything out when I go shopping with my friends (except my wallet, of course! :D) so I would get the smaller one.

Flag Flipknob Sling,
s-upercloset.blogspot.com

I added two bags this time because I thought that this would look really cute with the Jack Union Hoodie (above). They have the same design, and it would really cool if I could find matching shoes and accessories to form a whole entire outfit just based on the Union Flag (I did my research. :D).

Lastly, the shoes:

Haruka Lace-up Shoes (Lemonade),
Shinnpark.com

I have been eyeing this shoe ever since I saw it, but never really got around to buying it because I was afraid that it would be too small. My feet are size 39/40, but because all the size 39s are sold, I can only buy size 40. Oh well, I guess I'll just wear thicker socks. :)
The design of the shoe is really unique, from the coloured shoelaces and the pale colour of the shoe. The heel adds a classy and elegant look to the shoe, too. This would be the perfect vintage shoe if you ever need it. :D

So I'm done with this post and I'll continue searching blogshops for more stuff! Stay tuned. :D

If you want to submit any blogshops (or your own) with awesome clothes and shoes and bags and accessories (or any of the above. :D), then feel free to email me! :D
